The FlagSalon primary logo

FlagSalon

FlagSalon came to me for an updated brand strategy and a refined visual identity that felt sharper, more cohesive, and more aligned with their growth. The scope included updating the logo, colour palette, and typography. A key requirement was a practical brand governance so the identity could be used consistently across platforms, partners, and future collateral.

Client Background

FlagSalon is a digital marketing business built specifically for the hair industry, supporting salons, stylists, and barbers with marketing that drives visibility and bookings. Their world is fast-paced and visual by nature, so their branding needed to communicate confidence, clarity, and style while still feeling professional and trustworthy.

Brand Strategy & Design

This project blended strategy with refinement to tighten the visual system so it not only looked better, but worked better. I approached the update by clarifying the brand’s direction and translating that into practical design choices: a stronger, more intentional colour palette, typography that improved readability and presence, and a refreshed logo that felt modern and scalable across digital touchpoints.

From there, everything was documented into a brand strategy guide designed to support real-world use. This included clear brand foundations (positioning and direction), a defined visual system (colours, fonts, and logo usage), and usability details that protect the identity over time like minimum spacing requirements for the logo to ensure it always has breathing room and maintains legibility.

The outcome was a refined, confident brand identity that FlagSalon could apply consistently. Ultimately making their business look as premium and intentional as the marketing results they deliver for their clients.
